Garrison is made to be washed and worn again and again, not thrown away like pads. We don't print a set number of washes, because how long a pair lasts depends on how often it's worn and washed and how it's cared for. Rotating 4 to 6 pairs spreads out the wear, and following the care steps below keeps the panel absorbing well. When a pair stops absorbing the way it used to, it's time to retire it.

Rinse in cold water, then machine wash cold or warm with your regular laundry. Hang dry or tumble dry on low. Skip fabric softener and bleach, because they coat the absorbent panel. That's all the care it needs.

We recommend washing new pairs once before the first wear.

Yes, on low heat. Hang drying works too. Avoid high heat.

Pants sizes vary a lot between brands, so our chart uses a laid-flat waistband measurement instead. If you can't measure a pair, keep in mind the fit is on the snug side, so go one size up from what you usually wear. If it's still wrong, we'll send the right size free.

Unworn pairs in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Email us first and we'll send the return address. Refunds go out within 10 business days of receiving the return, and return shipping is paid by the customer unless we made a mistake. For hygiene reasons we can't take back worn underwear, which is why the first-pair guarantee and free size exchange exist.
